Unfortunately we live in a society where not many understand the above quote, nor is it 100% applicable with the current nutrient deficient quality of our food supply. This is in part because "Industry" has taken over the production and sale of the food that we eat everyday, and just like any corporate model, more attention is paid to increasing profits rather than ensuring perfect nutritious quality for every meal on our tables. The other part is our failure as a society to hold industry accountable and require them to produce the high quality of nutrition that we need in order to sustain long and healthy lives without illness or disease for ourselves.
