Cure any Disease by Gary Hopkins

I’m sure this topic is going to touch everyone that reads it, since I do not know of single person that hasn’t gone through some sort of debilitating disease, at least indirectly through a loved one, in his/her life.
First off let me say that I am not a doctor and I’ve only been a healer for a little less than 5 years. So, I am certainly not yet at the pinnacle of my new life’s purpose. However, what I am offering here is my perspective and understanding of the healing process thus far, as a result of my own personal research and the invaluable experiences that I have had with my own client base. So, if you do not agree with anything that I state here, please keep in mind that I am only offering a different point of view that can relate to some viable options if you choose.
Since you are on a web-site like this, I am sure you are familiar with the concept of how powerful the mind is and can be. There are now a growing number of communities that display this across our own country and even more around the world. Whether it is in the form of meditation camps, holistic energy practitioners, or what the western world considers "alternate" forms of traditional medicine. The list goes on. The common thread among these different forms of therapies is usually some sort of "mental place of well being". In short, it comes down to diminishing the stress of everyday life down to manageable levels. This process is usually accomplished through some form of energetic or body manipulation, along with a counseling regimen to determine the root cause of the stress in the patient’s life. This process puts the body at "ease" and allows for the natural healing of the body/mind to take effect. In severe cases/diseases this regimen may be combined with conventional medicine to maximize the healing effect.
Having stated this (above), it is my belief that Stress is the root cause of all disease and illness that exist. How many people (including yourself) have illnesses/diseases or disorders flair up when our lives seem to be very unsettled? Or, have you ever ended a stressful week of work only to come down with a cold or the flu just in time for your weekend? These are of course direct and measurable ways to see this. What is harder to determine is the stress in our life that we become accustomed to. Maybe these are the on going negative relationships where we do not realize the impact that they have on our bodies until something severe rears its ugly head. Of course there are many types of negativity: anger, abuse, fear, anxiety, depression, etc. So, some of these aspects may not be readily apparent to everyone involved until it is too late. Too late for prevention that is.
If you believe as I do that stress is the root cause of every disease, then it only stands to reason that we can cure any disease or illness on our own accord through positive thought. I know how big a statement that must sound like and obviously as a society we are not quite there yet as a whole. But there are countless examples of this concept being put to work all over the world, and with great success.
Lets take cancer for instance, a big disease that effects millions, and pretty horrible as diseases go. But, just google "Natural cancer cures" and look at the volumes of sites and success stories that are displayed. Here are 2 sites that I found to be quite interesting on the subject:
Newstarget
Lifepositive - Holistic Cures for Cancer
Now, if something as horrific as cancer can be dealt with holistically, then doesn’t that make everything else seem a little more manageable? Certainly it does.
Let’s look at the human body for a moment. What are we made up of? The fact is, when broken down into our most basic form, we are energy, or just a small mass of vibration. Just like your car, the earth, and the universe. Yes, we are made up of the same stuff as the universe. This has been scientifically proven time and time again. (Google for specifics.) Another interesting fact is if we take a step up and look at our own biology (DNA), then we see very clearly that we all have the same coding in our DNA. If you take a perfectly healthy human you will be able to find the genetic code in their system for the Flu, Arthritis, Cancer, Polio, etc. The difference lies in the combination of experiences in a person’s life that will either foster, or keep disease at bay. Whether those experiences are mental, emotional, intellectual, or physical it does not matter. The point is that we have the ability to control all of these aspects of our lives, and in turn prevent and conquer disease.
Although this philosophy isn’t as common as the current status quo of "gloom and doom", I know we are heading in its direction. As much as some of us don’t want to be happy, we just need to stay positive and keep looking inward for the answers that we seek, just as the eastern philosophies are so eloquently teaching us. I’m certain that with these ancient beliefs coupled with our western drive to attain greatness as quickly and as efficiently as possible, that we will achieve these amazing feats of self mastery in the not so distant future.
